Ephemeral spatial installation "Portrait Disruption, The Exhibition"

Unconventional conceptual exhibition based on my photography research project on portrait photography. Produced in collaboration with young creatives and entrepreneurs.

The concept was to take my work out of its traditional "packaging".  Add new dimensions, such as sound, smell, texture and spatial volume to the portraits. To do this, we recreated a laundry room with lots of emotional detail and included portraits and clothes linked to the idea. We went as far as to have some of the framed images wrapped in real washing powder packets and transported by students taking part in the project (see images 4,5,6,7 and 8 below)

For the record, the research project began in 2021, thanks to a grant from the City of Geneva.

The people photographed are themselves creatives and entrepreneurs. They bring their ideas and share their visions. The clothes come from recycling and are adapted, see upcycled.
